Crawl under and see if the DS is warmer than normal by the bearing

Same and it had been on for 21 years and had lived in Washington its whole life. I coated the splines with grease just in case though haha

I will say this though. The write up has you remove the front half if the DS. I found there was no reason to do this. Just undo the flange at the CB and take care of the rest with an impact gun and the truck in neutral.

I’m sure it’s fine, mine would just get hot and make a weird noise. Got it figured out, after the third try.

    I was mainly just curious

I removed it all but I think you're right there isn't much reason to. I didn't have an impact with enough oomph at the time so I just chucked it in Reverse and low range so I could put some poop on the breaker bar without it walking away on me

Mine got toasty for the first use and it has been fine since. Toasty for us is like 125° but that's nothing for metal and rubber

I’m hearing these announcements at Wal-Mart that say “xxx please check your Palm Pilot”

This is a Palm Pilot. 21 years out of date.

Yeah I almost had that issue. Caught it right at the final look over. Straigtened it up and its good to go.

I went to Wally world and picked up something just in case we get trick or treaters this year. I live in a normal neighborhood this year so it's possible haha.

That's what I did too, never removed the drive shaft from the truck, just unbolted the CB & that's it. I didn't even have a need to jack up the truck.

They use ones made by Symbol in conjunction with Motorola. They run palm software within an android emulator.

I’m an idiot, I put a CB spacer in too, that’s what fixed it,

That would make more sense. I’m just picturing employees using this 20 years or of date device and it’s hilarious.

We used the same garbage at Home Depot except we emulated PocketPC software haha. But it actually worked really well

Lowes had the Halloween shit out in June here. Holiday decor crap is on my list of shit that I will never buy. A huge waste of money, but don't tell the women that that have a space carved out in the garage for this shit. So put that sports car dream in the dumpster once you get married lads the garage is a catch all for women's junk.

Haha, just gotta up your bargaining abilities. My deal would be she can have the garage if I have a shop and if I don't have a shop she can have all the closets (I hardly put away my clothes anyway)
