    Not when done correctly. You get what you pay for with auto rapair/paint work. Spent 4 years in autobody repair, currently 9 years deep in manufacturing, this stuff is not cheep when done correctly.

    makes me wonder how much cash is being thrown in on hood swaps. seems like those wanting hood scoops would need to spend anywhere from $1,000-$1,500 if they bought and painted on their own, and might get about $300-$400? selling their old hood.

    I priced the parts more than once through toyota part dealers like Olathe or Titus Will and both times the parts were < 550, yet your quote is 792. Paint varies though, some shops want to blend the fenders and quotes on that range from 3-700+ around me.
