Hey guys. Getting a little frustrated here with the dual color maps and hope someone can help me out. I took the old bulbs out and put in Meso's dual color map. I plug it in, check it to make sure it turns on, and I go to snap the light unit on. When I put the actual light unit back in the lights flicker on/off as I try to tuck the wires. I figure the reflectors are in the way so I take them off for both sides. I re-plug Meso's maps and check them to make sure they work - yes they do. I do the check for both sides before snapping the maps in place. Once I do that both map lights do not work. I'm thinking to myself 'What the hell is going on?!' So I pop them back off, keeping them plugged in, and manually press the on/off white button for both sides. Nothing! Both sides aren't working now!!

What the heck am I doing wrong? Help :(

First thing I would check is Make sure the t10 bulb adapter connector leads are straight and making proper contact like this:

Both sides looks good. I tried putting the old OEM bulbs back on to check and they won't turn on anymore either. Did I break something lol

Plug a stock bulb back in and verify power is still going to the circuit

Which one do I check or how do I know which fuse has popped if that were the issue? I popped it open and they're all still properly seated.

Under hood. Should be a 7.5a? I think the dome and maps are off same fuse on 2gens..

Found it. How do I tell if it's bad? I pulled it off and reinserted it. Tried the oem bulb again with no luck.

You can pull it out and look(they are semi-see through) but the best way is with a multimeter on continuity. When in doubt just swap another in(should be some spares in the fuse box cover)

Ok so I put a 10a fuse in place of the 7.5a (assuming that's okay) and now the dome I got from you is working as well as the oem bulbs for the map.

Installed the white dome light today. I love the light. I don’t think it is too bright, unless you look directly at it. I was going to go with the dual maps when they are available, but now I think I will go with the white maps. I love the light and the brightness.

Dome lights going to be available for 2nd gen again? Think many are anxiously awaiting overhead console switch panels for 2nd gen also.

The best part about the dome design(besides the awesome light output) is that the LED’s are recessed in the housing. What this does is channel the light down where it’s needed, and not out the side blinding you like a conventional LED bulb swap + factory clear lens.
