I’ll still be in Charlottesville but in the northern part of the county near Greene. Man I have got to fire a gun since deer season last year.

For actual application I prefer 50M zero. I don't like doing math while looking through a.scope.

    I totally agree.

I really enjoying going out and firing off some rounds and relaxing... I picked up this .308, but wasnt happy w/ the stock... so this was my little project today...

    from this camo stock:

    42349733_1827133180741282_50354873551049_95236acb5f4785cf63b0e2936aecdff90a042455.jpg

to a "desert snake scale" aka "laundry bag paint job" (my military bretheren know all about this)

    42420448_1827229257398341_66231759565655_10de04b4b7f659c0f5ac065d802adf6603aa4a44.jpg

I agree. Especially out here on the East Coast... Most shots you'll take when hunting will be 50-100M (which is w/in 2") so it'll still be a kill shot either way

Now hunting back in CO, I moved it up to a 100M zero since it's a lot more open out there and the possibility of longer shots is increased

100m zero FTW. Unless you have a collimator handy. In the Corps we also use the field expedient 25m or 36yd BZO, but it isn’t as accurate.

I’ve only used one once before, but I’ve heard Gunners swear by them. Hell, I’ve only used an RCO a couple of times for table 3. My last real qual on the KD range was 2002 with iron sights, and that is what I currently run on my personal Colt HBAR.

    Aren’t ARs “unsafe” in NY?
