For a few Grand more you can have a brand new one.

Idk...employees treat company vehicles like shit. Was it properly broke in? Or did the part runner hammer on it to "see what it could do"

This was last January and most dealers were only reducing the price by a couple thousand. I'm happy with the purchase and it had everything I wanted. No problems and I really like the truck. I have more faith buying from a dealer than a used one from someone whose had it off road 4 wheeling beating the crap out of it.

A few grand can make or break a deal...we are talking about a truck that has a reputation of going 300+ thousand miles. How much am I actually loosing buying a used truck here realistically? Its not like I bought a ford focus with 95k on it, we all know that aint gonna pan out well

It’s still an SR5, so no.

Good for you, but I'm skeptical. That is well below market value for a 2016 TRD OR DCSB 4WD with only that many miles. Hell thats below trade in value.

I was too, I was skeptical and took it to a Toyota dealership the very next day to get it a full once-over as well as all the fluids changed, and ran my own carfax check. Everything checked out though and works fine.

At $26000 you sir got the deal of a lifetime. You could turn around and sell it for a profit. Congrats.

I was thinking the exact same thing, turn around and sell it for a nice profit.

I just bought a used '18 from a Ford dealer. Traded my'17 F150 for it that stickered new for $48,705. The Tacoma is a TRD OffRoad with auto trans and 11k miles. It is in like new shape. Bone dry stock in Barcelona Red. Truck stickered new for about $39k. Their best CASH price on the used Tacoma was $34k. I negotiated like I was a cash buyer then thru in that I wanted to trade at the last minute. I traded even up. No money exchanged hands. Think I did fine... The Tacoma books for more than the F150. The salemanager told me they weren't getting any real action on the Tacoma cause it was sitting on a FORD dealer's lot. I tried 2 or 3 Toyota dealers that had similar used Tacomas like I bought. The best deal I was quoted was $2500 diff for a black '17 TD OffRoad with 10k miles on it. It was equipped just like my '18.

Bought my 16 TRD OR DCSB Certified with 29k on it back in February 17. Paid $30k. At time seemed like a good deal. Unfortunately truck has been very unreliable & looking for something else in the next year. Hopefully resale doesn't tank on the 3rd Gen but not holding my breath.

I bought a 2017 DCSB off-road 12k miles with the tech package/heated seats for 34k in July 2018 in Pleasanton, CA from a Hendrick's BMW dealership

I think paying 32+ for a used Tacoma is kind of a rip off unless your paying cash. If you think about it credit union automotive loans or stealership loans are around 2.5-3% on good credit. Why not pay 2k more get a new last years model and get a great loan. This is what I did for a brand new 2017 DCSB OR 4x4. 34K 0.9% interest. Used ones were 33k with mediocre interest rates on perfect credit. Id shop around, especially for a 2018 when 2019s are rolling out. Wait until dec/jan
