Pretty much. We did some real damage today. Aubrey wanted fried shrimp and lobster so I've got to work a few more hours of OT this week

This cool truck was hanging here too. Didn't get to meet the owner though.

The weather was crazy. It was closed during the day cause of wind speed. It was about 50 at the base with a lite breeze but it was blowing hard at the top with stronger gusts and mid 20's

Pretty sure when we went it was sustained 48mph with gusts 70+ it was nuts how they let the train operate in those conditions. Our in-laws hiked up (in shorts) and took the train down with us. Definitely an experience I will take my boys back again for.

It's got to be frustrating experience once you hike to the top and see all the vehicles up there.

Not likely bothered at all; Hikers are a different breed... (much like cross-fitters)
    I am neither.

I enjoy hiking, wouldn't call myself a hiker, but I will not hike MT Washington or Acadia for just that reason. Maybe it's just in my head, but hiking is to get places you can't get to any other way.

The old chrome plated uniballs were junk. But relatively cheap, and very easy to replace. They (tc, camburg, icon, dirtking... etc) have switched to stainless uniballs. Mine have been through multiple winters now with no degradation. Still tight and no scoring or blemishes.

But switching to uni lowers wasn’t cheap... luckily the truck had tc uppers when I purchased it.

I've hiked it a few times. It might actually be my least favorite mountain. It's enjoyable to climb but I hate the top. Too touristy and way too many people. I like the ones that you can only get up if you use your own two legs.

Don't know if you go through the Cheshire side of Adams normally, but the barn that burned down this weekend is still smoking this morning. I could see it up on the hill from East Rd.

Really? We do drive through there a few times a week, today is my day off so I won't be leaving the hill here. That's actually our vet's home (or her parents?), she pulled some quills out of my pup a few months ago, nice lady! The go fund me seems to be doing well so hopefully they are back at it soon.

Other guy in Pitts who lit 4 houses on fire hopefully goes to jail for life, or we just save some money and make it quick.
