That’s what I’ve come to learn about the baofeng. I keep it as a handheld while camping, paintball and stuff because I don’t feel bad if it gets trashed. I also fly drones so I’m going to be getting a new handheld that can listen in on aircraft comms for when I’m near airports.

My goal for the mobile rig is to find a decent radio that also has a repeater system so I can use the truck as a small repeater and link up handhelds while hunting or something.

I was listening in on some stuff last night. I love the sound of Morse code.

Crossed the 50k milestone on the Taco this weekend! Also changed out my back up lights for some bulbs i had to order from Slovenia (Yes the country) I saved you on the picture of how bright they are because photographing lighting is very odd. But I will say i cannot believe how bright they are. So glad @crashnburn80 does all of his lighting write ups. I can see so much better now, even with my window tint!!

    Thanks, TW!

I have them in my Corolla tuner. They are water-tolerant; not water proof. They are made out of the same stuff Scuba Diving wet suits are made of.

Supposedly (supposedly) the word "okole" means rear end/butt/ass in the native Hawaiian language. The idea is you can leave the beach, set your Wet Ass down on the seat of your car athe seat will be protected.

I hope it's a fluke too. They were very responsive this morning and we're working on a solution now.

TX trd stickers removed. A hair dryer, goof off, microfiber towel and a light wash go a long way. Finally ready to deep clean and wax.

Glad you're alright! After rolling two vehicles to swerve around darting deer, I've accepted it'll just be easier (and cheaper) to stay on course and roll the dice on hitting the beast. Best of luck with the appraisal.
