Too many trucks and mods to list.. check builds
It’s pitted. I’m figuring new springs shafts and heims. Everything else looks good

Did a trail run today with @quetzal and @8701yota @Des0911

First time I've ever done a run with all 1st gen Tacos...usually I'm the only one among 2nd and 3rd gens lol.

Didn't get too many photos, just of the very first gatekeeper obstacle. Fun trip though, managed to tear the shit out of the tread on my ST Maxx rubbing the rears on the metal wheel well corner

I miss having the free time to scroll through here for hours but school has been hell this semester... But I am starting to gather parts to do the GM alternator upgrade since my original one keeps dropping voltage. I know I'll want to get the conversion harness and I think you need to put spacers in front? of the gap to make the belts line up correctly. Correct me if I am wrong there it might be behind. I know the pulley is a 6 rib compared to the stock 4 rib, anyone know if there is a pulley you can swap over to to make it a 4 rib?

It pulled two second gens through the gatekeeper of this trail and myself yesterday. These were the easier sections. Hopefully someone got some better shots. Ill post em if they did. Leader of the group dented his drive shaft pretty bad, and i shaved the yolk zerk off my driveshaft  Hopefully I can just put a new one in

They come out super easy with an easy out because they're covered in grease and they almost have zero torque on them.

The 1/4" spacer goes to the back so the alt slides forward a bit. No need to swap pulleys. The 6 rib works just fine.

Here is a picture of mine, I used 4 washers for the spacer.

Here is a link to the conversion harness.

I searched some but too lazy to keep looking. What is the recommend mileage to changes trans fluid for a MT? Also mileage to change, transfer case, and diffs? I've got about 2 years and ~30k since my last change. Used Redline for trans and Mobile1 75/90 for everything else.

Driving is nearly all country hilly back roads, rarely ever on interstate more than a couple miles once in a while

I do 50k on manual trans and gear fluids. I did it at 55k and is was pretty gray/black in color.

My UCA bushings squeak like crazy going over bumps ever since I got the shock buckets gusseted. Grease can't get in between the gussets where the outer washers used to be.

Modding my bushings right now. Not sure if I f'd em up or not by doing this. We'll see how long they last.

Sounds familiar. Put a bunch of grease on the ends of the bushings that go against the gussets when reinstalling them.

I also switched to a nylock nut and don't torque it as much, that helped quite a bit.

I'm putting ES Formula 5 on the ends of the bushings this time with the grooves I cut. That stuff is tacky as hell. Normally I just use Super Lube but it doesn't last long with the gussets.

Havent yet, im almost positive that the lights threw the code, since ive cleared it, the code hasnt come back over 200 miles. I will be adding a diode in for sure.
