My 4runner didn’t come with fog lights, I got an oem switch and wired a relay from the battery

I'll have to double check later. But, I think I pulled power from the 20A Door R/L circuit. I was trying to pull power from the 20A S/Roof circuit but I couldn't get a good angle to insert the the fuse tap in that circuit. I connected all three of the switch light leads to that one tap. It seems to be working so far. The Rear Bumper light switch isn't illuminated because #1 I don't have lights and #2 the switch isn't grounded yet.

Thank Jerry. The reason I ask is, my light bars each came with a wiring harness comprised of a relay, and a fuse, and then of course a switch. Each one has 3 wires. The switches have indicator lights built in, red when they are off and green when they are on. I plan on replacing both of those with a OEM switch.

This is the setup now. It was just to do the review for the light bars as they come out of the box.

    20180819_204408.jpg

Not ideal or pleasant looking but it works very simple. I want to add a real switch though and loose these wires. I was thinking since the 4th wire on an OEM style switch it for the switch illumination when the dash lights are on, that I could just find that wire in the rear sliding window switch next to it and just jump into it. Then of course the other three wires would be combined from both light bars and wired to the switch as intended.

At least that is my plan.

Tent heater for the win! Went camping in 6” of snow and was sleeping in shorts and a t shirt in a shitty Coleman sleeping bag with that thing running. Was even getting a little warm.
