Got a 89 chevy s10 blazer tank, put it where the spare was. Had to cut the fender. Facebook DIY modified Tacoma where I posted the write up....

Did you beef up rear suspension at all? Also, what's the estimated new range?

Stock suspension, thats my next upgrade but I'm holding about 45 gallons. I can drive 8 hours of continuous driving on the highway going about 85 miles an hour.... transfer fuel while driving and it takes about 15-25 minutes total fuel transfer it's using the fuel pump that came with the tank.

It's about 120 to fill up unleaded.

Yea.... it was like a 15 hour job but man its worth it.... I get no dash light, no bs from the transfer and it's cheap just alot of work. Cutting the fender was hard bc its my baby lol.

Do it man.... I was going to put the fill on the inside but if I'm loaded I can fill up that's why I put it on the outside. That long range travel tank is to expensive and some other people have to get into their bed to fill.

New plumbing. Still need to hook up the rear diff air line to the selenoid and extend the harness a bit.

Got tired of the front bumper rattling around and not being very tight. Popped off the lower bumper brackets from the rivets and replaced with #14 self tapping screws and then used stainless hardware in place of the the plastic tabs on the secure points for the bumper. Doesn’t move now. Also more prep for the Satoshi Grill, painted the core support area and dropped off the mesh at the powder coater. 92E16108-2C62-4ACE-9310-B170FC4AA323.jpg73CF1417-3274-4F34-9A10-8A9505F0461D.jpg

Not really sure if it counts.. But got my new snatch strap on sale from Custom Splice today. Along with their chafe guard cause it was cheap
Coincided nicely with the monthly winch exercising.
