Whenever I give the gas the right amount pressure it sounds like there is a rattle coming from the passenger side. I'm thinking its coming from the intake. If I give it more or less gas it stops. Anyone had this problem

Check for loose bolts inside the glovebox. You will probably have to take it out and tighten all of the bolts.

Holy shit. I've had this problem for the past 3 months. I give a little gas and the rattling comes from the passenger side dash. It sounds like it is coming from underneath it. I've tried to pinpoint the exact source but I can't. I brought it to the dealer and they said there was a tsb out for it. They claimed it was a tag attached to the airbag that caused the rattling. Well, their fix didn't completely solve my problem. The rattle is still there but not as often and not as loud. I do notice it seems to be more prevalent in colder weather.

Auto. I will check the glove box. Did yours sound like it was out side? I was thinking intake was making the noise.

mine definitely sounded like it was coming from the inside. I thought it might have been from installing my cold air intake but I checked my box and it is rock solid and i can't appreciate any noise coming from it.

might there be something clogging the heater core a bit where there could be some cavitation generating? Just a thought....

I think I fixed it. There was a rock in the intake tube but I think it was the intake rattleing against the fender when it enters it. So I put some rubber hose around the hole and intake fit nice and snuf. Ill drive around in a few and check.

Open to more ideas. I've had the glove box, front cowl under the windshield, and just about everything else back there ripped off for an inspection. All loose wires zip tied, foam added around the glove box door, etc. Sounds like I have an empty spray can in the glove box.

This ^^ My intake was hitting against my fender making a horrible thud sorta rattle. I put some of that rubber/foam stripping around it and it has never done it again.

So I took the end tube off the intake and drove around and the rattle is still there. I'm thinking it must be the headers or exhaust

I found my rattle today - it was the poorly made, engineered and fitted windshield cowl. It has never fit correctly since the beginning and Toyota refused to do anything about it. If I shove a glove between the hood and the cowl, all my rattles stop...
