And that's like the only fire you just add more fuel to and crank the engine haha. I keep a 2lb in all my vehicles and bring a 5lb in anything I'm roadtripping in. Tearing down the Z today I found part of the main charging harness burnt with copper exposed almost touching the exhaust mani. Glad I found that, replacing the whole charging harness in that car, since some dumbass put auto parts store terminals on it.

@m3bassman You wanna reduce your chances of fire? Take all that wire spaghetti in your engine bay and re run it all with thought to the path it takes (abrasion, heat, length) and also loom it all in convoluted tubing to increase it's resistance to chafing

 

40-50 year cali car actually, they really don't rust out west at all
