Very nice, congrats to her! how was her shot placement? I worked the hell out of the area I went too without luck. Got up 4 does and seen a black bear, just didnt get a buck in front of me. Combination of glassing and game trail stalking didnt work out. Taking a different approach this weekend and plan to backpack out several miles then hunt. Its going to be a hell of a hike if my buddy and I both fill our tags but we shall see.

 

Her shot was a little further back than I’d hoped for but it got the job done. My buddy was up in B zone this weekend but didn’t see anything but a couple bears and does.

Nice buck, I missed a 3x2 outside of Vacaville in Sept. first buck I’ve missed since 2006.

 

My buddy hunting partner shot one this year outside Vacaville. Never seen or heard of one until then. Pretty cool trophy.

Yeah, I have a access to roughly a thousand acres 5 minutes outside town.

I've been wanting to get a turkey with my bow since last spring and the spring archery season just opened and runs until the 19th. Anyone interested or know of any spots for me and a buddy to check out on our own? I'm open to roll just about anywhere!
