Wonder just how accurate those reports are of rain water sucking into the box from that forward facing intake. If I had a use for this (not in my parking lots lol), I'd look at one of those pre-filters

I think mine are at like 35 or something. I never really messed with it haha. What tires are you talking about, Maxx’s or Cepek?

I'll keep an eye on it for you. But I think I would get one just to make sure it doesn't happen.

that's what my Mickey's are on 35psi but I got E rated tires as well. Does good on my daily route of gravel and pavement. I have had them as low as 10 psi mut I was in mud and sand

I’ve never messed with tire pressure ever.

I don’t have a compressor and don’t want to stop and use one anyway haha.

from what I've read those pre-filters are supposed to do an excellent job with dust as well. Plus it looks cool. :anonymous:

Fixing my noisy carrier bearing has allowed me to focus on other less expensive sounding noises. Good lord do I have a ton of dash rattles. Ive tried stuffing felt between the windshield and dash to no avail. Ive got a squeak/chirp sound comimg from what I think is inside the dash. A squeaky shifter assembly, a rattle that makes itself known whenever I downshift and a rattle in the passenger foot well area, maybe the door. Any tricks besides what Ive already done? 0924181853a.jpg

Should still have a compressor on-board. That and a puncture seal kit. You never know...

Maybe follow the Service Bulletin (?)

Can't get those parts anymore but just sub them out for 3M product

My little cigarette tire inflator died on my and a jeep behind me had a bicycle pump on steroids. Let me use it 10-12 pumps and I was up from 15 to 35 psi. 3 foot action and fully custom built. He was a compressed air engineer. He built compressed air systems for factories. Was a pretty cool pump but man you had to be strong to do it lol.

Do you driving on pavement air down for very long? It won’t really matter for the next few years.

Come on. Even one of those cheapy 30 dollar compressors is better than nothing. May only do the job a couple of times but better than not having one and being stuck somewhere with no cell coverage. Just saying. Doesn't have to be some VIAIR -

My compressor is 20 years old. And takes awhile to pump up from 20psi. But it does it non stop on all 4 tires no issue.

It’s probably be nice in the spring when we camp in the dirt for the majority of May, and maybe my 150 mile I get to do every 2 days if I get to do that again.

Anyone know if harbor freight has a compressor
