    Agreed.

    I did some plastic welding on my bike fairings. It is more fun than mixing epoxy anyway! I did mess up by not using some fiberglas. I didn't realize that the kit you showed was so complete. I did some fibergals work with a friend on the boat he was building. He had large quantities of all the expensive stuff. I'll grab that to re-fix that fairing.

    If you're not wrapping the entire piece, make sure to sand the plastic aggressively to give it some tooth. Fiberglass doesn't like to stick to smooth plastic. By wrapping the piece entirely with fiberglass (over the edges), you're essentially building a new part out of glass, but using the original plastic as just the frame.

    Thanks for the tip. Not sanding away from the crack was another one of my problems with the initial repair. The filler material didn't stick well. The main crack is at the top where it laps under another fairing. Wrapping the glass over would be a must. There's room to do it.
