i am replying to my own post to document my experience...i know you are all waiting with bated breath. :)

ordered Sunday eve and arrived Thursday morn...was in stock. excellent.
difficult and time consuming to install...but worth it.
only prob is the velcro flaps on the back do not match up....clazzio video says have assistant help to make it happen...in the works.

looks good. not sure i will use the center console cover (access cab)...but over all i got what i paid for and these are very high quality covers.
just a little difficult getting them skin tight/fitting...as to be expected.
friend will help with back seat Velcro flaps tomorrow.

ps. clazzio and other videos make it look fairly easy. it aint...and i am no slouch. it took me 20 minutes to figure out the headrest I and J hook...definitely you must watch the clazzio video for install. i understood it but the flick of the wrist in the video took a fair amount of time...even the 2nd time. and the biggest prob i had was determining the string routing for the bottom cushion...but now understood and fine. no piece of cake...but doable and worth it.

    update: all done.
difficulty with getting back velcro to connect was fixed by pulling off clazzio backs and some unzipping original covers to fold flap UNDER itself (contrary to clazzio video) to get a more workable flat surface. some hard plastic on the original flap to deal with. even with friend we could not get it to work until redoing and then one person was easily able to do it.

decided to go with the center console cover. had to take the hinged cover totally apart to get it on. i found it easier to remove some screws, latch, hinge and separate inner and outer cover than tugging and pulling in inaccessible areas. only prob is the cover is really thin and there are some wrinkles due to loose fit. i will at some point redo it and put some padding under the clazzio cover.
if you disassemble, you can use the bumper holes to reach a couple of concealed screws once the cover is on and reassembling.

looks real good. nothing special for pics though. you've all seen it before.
bottom line: definitely watch the clazzio and other installation tip videos but you will probably have to get a little creative for your exact install.

i could probably do a fresh install in about an hour now. took me several the first time. lots of head scratching the first time. (remember access cab so just 2 seats)

there are a couple of improvements since the clazzio installation tips video. for instance, the flaps that had to be cut for wires in the video are now in 4 sections so wires fit without cutting.

    further tips:
i decided to redo the center console with foam between the original cover and the clazzio cover. it was like
the clazzio cover was made to have this done and the foam was left out. it took out the wrinkles and gave the cover some cushy depth and even made the underside bumpers line up better with the holes. see pic. highly recommended.

and here is what will seem ridiculous until it hits you. while doing the original install i lost the clazzio tool to the blackness of the mats and carpet and black plastic. very frustrating looking for it. happened 3 times. when redoing the console, i wrapped a colorful band around the tool so i don't have to go looking for it. and it wound up in a cup holder where i never would have seen it. i bet most that have done
the install know what i am talking about. 'tis a tip to future installers...see pic.

For those having double cab, how do you install the rear seat, can i take off the plastic plate behind the seat before i install the cover? i used to put stuffs in the back seat fold down and dont wanna scratch the leather .

I’m not sure. The covers have straps that go over the plastic part on the back of the bottom seat.

Only thing that needs to be removed is the bottom seatbelt mount, but please make sure you re-attached it and make sure the bolt is tight!

No need to remove anything else, I would suggest installing the back rest first as you bran out a knee or two on the cloth seat to help pull the leather on the back rest.

Curious to know what everyone with Clazzios are using to clean their leather covers with.

Honestly for the quality, these are worth the price they are asking for.
This entire thread has nothing but good things to say about them.
Most complaints being about installation being rough on your fingers.

This is true. I broke the install on my 4Runner into two days only an hour and a half each days did back one day and then front. Definitely helped avoid finger death this time.

Anyone ordered lately with the free embroidery deal? Do I need to add the embroidery to the cart or order the set without and speak to them afterwards?

Thanks but my question is on the actual order process and adding things to the cart. I sent Clazzio another PM just waiting for him to see it.

In reference to post 3563 is the dark brown the closet to the OEM Hickory color?
