Bleeding all 4 brakes is never a bad idea.

While you are at it, you ought to get a set of SpeedBleeders - makes bleeding brakes almost fun!

I don't remember what the seal looks like, having only been in there one time.

If RockAuto lists it, most likely it is the correct part. Don't forget, sometimes their pictures are stock, not actual.

Be interested in knowing how the ECGS bushing looks like if you can tell? It would let us know how well they are holding up.

 

Speaking of brake lines, did you notice a difference in stopping power once you put SS brake lines on the truck? I'm not as confident in my stopping ability since adding all the armor...

 

nope. I also need to mess with mine as one is rubbing up against my bump stop mounts...

 

That's lame. Guess I'll only upgrade the rear then since I'll need it for my Chevy 63 leaf spring install at Christmas

 

You will probably only notice a difference if the lines you are replacing are old.

As brake lines age, they lose integrity, and swell when you hit the brakes. Hence the squishly, lack of brake feeling. New lines, especially steel braided ones, will not expand under pressure.

Koyo or Timken bearings only, I went with Koyo's about 85 bucks for 2 bearings on my Diff

 

I don't need bearings, only seals.

 

I can't for the life of me find all of this stuff on rockauto....somebody do that for me...lol

 

I could've swore wheel bearings were mentioned somewhere in here. oh well

 

Me too man. Once new tires are paid for, I'm going to start buying parts bit by bit. I've got some other minor welding projects I want to do before then like the cam tab gussets, spindle gussets and possibly shock tower gussets.
