What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Yesterday I replaced the upper and lower radiator hoses. I replaced them on my mom's '04 Highlander last week and they were starting to crack, so I figured I'd replace mine for some preventative maintenance.

Re-painted my skid.

Took out the K&N filter and cleaned/oiled it. They say it can go 100,000 before cleaning, but mine was at 70K and it was DISGUSTING.

 

Depending on where you drive the K&N should be cleaned every 10 to 15K miles.

About go take it for a mini roadtrip to get some new ( to me) shoes.

Installed a new intermittent wiper stalk

 

Polished it and finally hooked up my kc-hilites long range. Looks very very nice!

 

Ordered some "genuine leather" seat covers from Precision Fit for the bucket seats in my 2002 regular cab to reward her for outstanding service and to dress her up a bit.

 

New wheels and tires!

 

Discount Tire Direct rims and Yokahama S Drive tires.

 

Washed the outside pretty well

 

I think that is what MB wheels are but I am not sure. I bought them because I liked them more than other rims I could purchase.

 

Changed out old oil for some Penzoil Ultra 5w-30 w/ OEM filter. Topped off coolant & power steering fluid. Replaced cabin filter.

Next up, wash air filter (aFe Pro Dry S), top off tires and change rear diff fluid.

 

Replaced 2 fuses inside the frame by rear bumper to fix trailer lights,
replaced a front amber parking light & got some smell good spray for the interior.

 

Black headlight mod
