For those who bought this for a 2.7L, can you post a video/sound clip of it please?

 

So call me old, but this is a little loud in the cab for my tastes. Is there anything you can do to quiet it down some in the cab?

you could get sound mat stuff that people use for audio stuff. coat the floor of your cab with it and it'll be way quiet

 

its really to loud in the cab for you? wow! well you can get a resonator tip for it, that should help out a bit, or just turn up your radio lol

 

Most of my driving is city driving so I'm usually at the peak sound output

 

guess what guess what. Its wicked flow bitches ha. i couldnt resist lol But seriously i wish it was louder with lower RPM's. But still very pleased with it.

 

Had the muffler installed this Saturday and the installer said: Man that stock muffler weighs about 30lbs. FYI, for every 10 pounds off your vehicle 1hp gained. This info given from a friend that builds Hot Rods on the side.
Anyways it is loud enough for me and at highway speeds it is quiet. Punch it a little and you hear it. This while driving on overdrive. Get out of overdrive and it's ON.
I am very satisfied and boys were excited to hear it too. My oldest put he sticker on the back window. He said: you gotta show it dad.

 

Good to hear you enjoy it. For some reason my sticker was sticky on both sides and it just attracted a bunch of dirt so I just took it off.

 

Maybe you call them and have them send another one.
Though I thought that it was doing to be intrusive, but not at all. My son put it on the middle of the middle window.

 

Is there any way I can get the single in/dual out model? I'd like to get the WickedFlow MAX 13SD30250 if it would work on the truck.

I didn't know there was an overdrive on the tacoma, how do you turn it off? My old ford had a button on it.

 

There isn't a button. You just shift into 4th. That's off.
