South Carolina BS thread under new MANAGEMENT and lives in SC

So I didn’t get my puppy last weekend because the shelter place is a bunch of shit birds. So I bought the new iPhone Xs max

 

They have designated/semi civilized backpacking sites along the hiking trails and if you drive down Chestnut Mountain and Auger Hole there is a great primitive site at the river. If you go across the bridge there are multiple primitive sites along the creeks. Supposedly there is a way to get to some sites at Jocassee, too, but I haven't found it yet.

The best I can find with a quick search. The CMR link in my sig has good info on the area. A bunch of us had a nice run out there a while back. They also sell a really nice map at the visitor's center. I bought one, but have since misplaced it. You can see part of the map in the MGR link also in my sig.

If they have one at the visitor center that’ll be great. I like to have a hard copy to doodle and stuff on. I’ll combine all the resources and hopefully figure out something nice.

 

The wife and I just got the new xs yesterday. The camera is insane. Coming from a 6s these are a huge upgrade.

 

Ha! That’s the same phone I came from as well! Loving the phone so far, and the camera is indeed insane. Even the front facing camera is a massive improvement. I haven’t had the chance to take many pics yet, but the few I have taken to play around with is superb. It handles low light very well which I’m quite happy about.
