So I guess there was a positive. Perhaps he learned a lesson from it, if he needed to, folks do also tend to freak out these days when they see any knid of gun whether he was doing anything wrong or not

Seeing the looks on peoples faces as they walked past my son and I buying a 22cal. AR rifle at our local Wal-Mart tells me that.

Growing up with them they have been a way of life for me and now my girls. Out where we live it was just normal but with the city folks who have been moving out here it's changing some.

Not that I am anti gun at all but I haven't found the need or want for an AR. I just can't convince myself to buy one.

It's not the city folks here. Its the Yankees. And they have built up all our mud trails, drawn up all our water tables for golf courses. Our riverways have never been more polluted and over run by mindless boaters. Its all now laws laws laws u can't u can't u can't. To top it off our governor just jacked up the age to buy a firearm. My boys gonna turn out to be a 27 year old juvenile if government gets thier way.

See, this is why I love this forum. Skid plates and underbody protection and comms. These will be my first two projects. Will post updates.

Any recos on where to procure underbody protection in Denver Co? I have read good things about RSG, good shop?

I do plan on true overlanding. We have so much space to explore here in Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, NM, AZ...etc. The plan for this truck eventually is to have a full overland rig with solar, water, etc...

I built a sleeping platform in the back https://imgur.com/a/A9Tr5 . I would like to keep a fully enclosed sleeping area as opposed to a RTT as we plan on year round usage. I spent a few nights in 0 f temp in this thing last year off of Rabbit Ears last year and it was toasty, but condensation was an issue.

I had been building custom sport yachts for 25yrs. 61's and 44's I built the most of. I had been building custom wooden Prowlers 31' for the past 5 years. I now shoot single stage paint jobs in the aero and agricultural industry. I'm done with Fl. I had always wanted to move into metal work and move out of here.

Oh we, as a border state especially, have our share of intrusion. The DC area is ever expanding. I just hope it stops before it gets to us, any more. What state are you in?

Look at installing a small ceiling vent wirh a fan. 12v can easily be run into the bed. This will help greatly with any condensation. I am sending you a PM about the armor

I miss winters. I'm tired of year-round heat. I've lived here for my entire 42yrs so far. The only thing keeping me here is my young son whom I've been raising on my own down the street from my mom.

If tou get socked in with a big snow storm or have to work at a major airport in the snow ir might change that feeling. I used to live the snow until I came here to work
