Need help on some corner light clips....

Ah I see, dammit! I placed an order a few days ago for some stuff, in that order was 2 pairs of these clips. I had no idea they are on backorder, don't need them right now, just ordered to have. In that I order I also ordered some headliner clips that my local dealer & another online dealer said it they couldn't be ordered anymore. But the dealer I placed the order from allowed me to order them. I guess that order is going to be cancelled.

I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that how these corner lights are attached is piss poor at best. One little screw and a clip.

 

The 2 larger clips is p/n 53145-12010, just got some last month.

 

If these clips go NLA a lot of people are going to be unhappy and will resort to siliconing in their corner lamps.

I just removed the back headliner clips before paint. I'm glad now that they didn't break.

Maybe they are available again now. I just got mine a couple of days ago. Took 2 weeks but I got two pairs now.

 

I'll be stopping in at the dealer in the afternoon on Friday. I'll ask what the status is now. When I canceled my back order they said there was 600 plus for the driver side on back order nationwide. If they're in stock at the depot I'm going to order an extra

It was online this time but it was from a Toyota dealership so your local dealership should be able to get them.
