Looking for reviews on the 4x4 off-road but mostly all I see are one's for the sport & pro. Is this model not as popular as the other 2?

Those who bought the offroad are too busy enjoying them to talk about them! Pro guys want everyone to know they got a Pro and the Sport guys are hanging around waiting for take off scraps to put on their rigs!

    JUST KIDDING!

    I have no clue really...

Interestd in a new 4x4 off-road but trying to get some opinions of what kind of car they are. CR ranks them at the bottom.
Also, What kind of air filter upgrade would anyone recommend?

The ORs or any other Tacoma model doesn't need an air filter upgrade so I wouldn't waste your money there.

I have an OR, love it so far, even with all the cheap plastic! Miss the power of the full size but the Tacoma better suits my needs.

Not trying to be rude to the new guy, but the search function here will answer all your questions. Also everyone will follow with the opinion that the model they bought is the best, and all the others are either trash, or overpriced 25K pick ups.

That being said, obviously you are a person of exquisite taste as the OR is clearly the superior Tacoma.

After market Air filter offer little gains for third gens. Those and exhaust upgrades don't do much for our trucks. So save that money.

I think the majority of people on this forum have OR’s.

-I have no evidence of this.

CR also thinks the Ridgeline is a truck and thinks the Tacoma, which is clearly the most off-road capable, rides too rough.

    Fuck 'em.

    Liked the OR. Purrs nicely.
Doesn't seem like it has a grge door opener, not a deal breaker tho.
