Each their own. Personally I hate chrome. I wish I could find an antenna spring that wasn't chrome.

My elocker has worked flawlessly from day one. I don't understand how they cause constant problems for others.

 

Only problems I’ve had with mine are when I try and unlock it and push the ect button instead of the the locker... doesn’t work.

Haha in my defense I had a wedding to go to on Friday thru Sunday or else it would've been done Friday. I also got my TC gussets welded up and ran into a few issues

But it works now!

 

What could cause a similar whine to a power steering pump going out. I've removed the belt and still hear the noise. Is it possible that the rack itself can whine?

BTW don't by a CVJ rack. At a year and a half old it no longer holds fluid and also the tierods couldn't handle full droop.

My advice with Quickfists...don't use those plastic rectangular washers that come with them...they break and then the Quickfist slides off the screw and whatever it's holding onto will fly off with it. In my case, it was my axe and it flew off my truck on the freeway when I was going 75 mph. Got lucky I was in the slow lane and it landed off the side of the road.

Use a small metal washer in its place...works much better

 

If you are talking about the hard plastic seats for your shifter they are all made by Marlin Crawler and then sold to other shops. Marlin Crawler is working on getting lower cost shipping options also. FedEx doesn't like to ship anything for less than $12 and that's if it doesn't leave the local area its being shipped from.

 

I got really lucky it didn't hit someone...but in hindsight it was kind of funny.

I should have taken pics of the one I pulled out of the cruisers rear diff, thing was fucked. One for my transfer case locker and front locker are both pretty clean but someone def opened them and put new grease in cause Toyota doesn't use red grease
