TRD Pro skid plate weld nuts broken

    I believe the nuts were welded before the crossmember was welded together.

    True enough but in 6 Toyota pickups I've owned in the last decades I've never had craftsmanship failure like this.

    Mine were the rear ones in the crossmember near where the rear LCA attaches. If that’s where you’re talking about, they can be reached. Massive pain, but it’s possible.

    No it's the front ones. We will see how confused the dealer is.

    Another nut behind the wheel. I stripped the threads on one. The weld nuts are fine although the one for the bolt with the stripped threads is off center. Purchased quality bolts and torqued it on after checking the fluid level in the front diff which was fine unlike the rear.

    Sometimes you feel like a nut...
