Had to make several detours on the way in this morning due to closed roads and bridges.
Couldn't see if the roads or bridges washed out.
We got over 7 inches of rain all at once yesterday.

Someone recently told me that PA & NY were the tip of the Northeast. I asked them what about New England and they said "well that's like Canada".

Morning all. 20 degrees warmer this morning than it was last night, which was unexpected.

Ha I can see why it was making noise. I pull my can bolts and the ones on the Mrs 5th gen T4R once a year. I just consider it part of the annual maintenance

 

I'm cancelling my direct tv today. Screw them. How do you guys watch sports on the interwebs? I'm worried about watching NFL and PGA without a network service.

 

I think you will be fine with decent internet. I haven't done much though.

You could also just go stare at your boats a few hours every sunday though and I'd consider that better use of your day

 

Boats will be shrink wrapped soon, not much fun to look at, but the sleds will be occupying a lot of time soon. It's just strange to not have the ability to watch the Patriots although this season might be shaping up to be a good one to cut the cord on that unhealthy addiction.

 

I've got a cheap signal booster in my attic that does a decent job of picking up the network games. But if they're on ESPN or NFL Network then I'm SOL and end up listening to them on the radio instead.

We don't get them here 80% of the time anyways, we are close to NY border and the cable/sat companies refuse to give us MA channels so we get Jets, Giants and then Pats games. I stopped watching almost all sports about 5 years ago, I will still watch the super bowl if the pats make it and hockey games, but that's about it.

 

Just started the process to switch my internet to Verizon. Comcast is charging $75/mo for 65mbps, with Verizon I'll get 100 mbps for $50/mo. I'll have to pay a cancellation fee to comcast of $100 but whatever.

 

YouTube tv all sports, including golf and major netowrks. $40
