    Well, I only posted it because I want to provide possible missing links. Plus the paint job had me hooked, if nothing else we gotta have that shit incorporated into the final design.

    However I'm thinking you might need some sort of disguise like a giant stuffed teddy bear to keep your ass outta jail.

    A thing or two...
    Muzzle energy of the spud leaving the barrel is 1/2 * spud mass * (spud velocity squared). The speed that the gun recoils is the square root of (2 * that number divided by the mass of the spud gun).

    Then you have to figure out how long it takes to bring the cannon velocity from 0 to that speed to figure out the acceleration to calculate the recoil force acting on it. From there you can start figuring out sheer/tensile strengths of the various materials and fasteners.
