Great idea for a thread! Gonna sound like a dick here, but the video where you got sideswiped shouldn't you be turning into the curb lane, not the center lane? Pretty good fine here for doing that.

 

That 2nd one was close
the public at large has a hard time seeing red and orange vehicles.

 

I know the wide angle lens makes it look like you are going fast, but why is everyone shaking their fists at you?

Almost rear ended a guy today while I was driving to work. Dickhead cut over without looking.

I didn't get a ticket, but I did get a check from her insurance company. If that was an issue, they certainly didn't fight me over it. They didn't push back at all after seeing the video.

 

A pleasant little how-do-you-do from early this year. Nearly bought me a new truck. And yes, the turn signal was on.

Your lane selection didn't have anything to do with the accident. The vehicle trying to share your lane did. What if you were going to immediately turn left after you pulled out? I don't think anything was wrong with your maneuvering.

I once got a ticket because, in a left turn, I didnt go into the left most lane. The vehicle in front of me had the same idea except he waited slightly longer than me so we sideswiped. I got an improper turn, he got an improper lane change. Both dropped because the officer didn't show up to court.

 

Anyone with the Roav C1 have problems with the video being too bright to the point where you can barely see anything??

 

You are correct about his lane selection, but wrong (in NYS at least) about the turn. NYS traffic law is you must turn into the closest lane . Then you signal to switch lanes when safe.

My dashcam decided to not save a whole buncha clips from the last week, and there was some real dumb shit in there. I am triggered.

We made direct eye contact as she started turning out, then she slowed down even more as she was making the turn.

 

That title though

 

This dumb ass cut in front of a line of 20-30 cars because she rode the turn lane all the way up and then changed into my lane in the middle of the intersection.
