Deal or no deal? 2017 Sports with 30k miles (all srvc history).

Came across a pre owned 2017 Sports trim 4X4 crewcab shortbed with 30k miles and all services/recalls completed. It's at a local dealership.

Asking price is $32k and negotiate. Clean title and no accidents, etc. One owner.

I can probably get it down to $30k+taxes. Kinda high miles for a one year old vehicle but its in tip top condition and 30k service done at the dealership. Other than the questionable miles, how does the deal look?

Best quote on 2018 I've gotten on the same trim is about $35k+ taxes (brand new).

I would keep looking for new one, better prices will be out there as the 2019s are starting to hit the dealerships.

 

FWIW I paid 31k (before TTL) for my 16 DCSB TuRD Sport new. Not 4x4 but you can get close to new at that price.

 

Got my 18 dclb sport 4wd, factory tonneau, carpet and rubber matt, bed mat, exhaust tip, for 32 and change.

 

Better drive it a lot first

 

for 6k more you can get a new one with a warranty....

 

I saved $4K for mine (brand new), since the 2018's were coming out.

P.S. I would hold out for an Off-Road model....

 

Does seem kind of high mileage, you should be able to find lower mileage similar money. Don’t know where you’re located but check out Autotrader. By the way, nothing wrong with the Sport...

 

Cali prices are high. In the mid-west that would buy a new truck.

Not a good deal, you could get a leftover 18 for around 33-34 plus TTL.

 

I paid 30k another 3k for ca lic.and tax for 17 sport 2x4 dbcblb with 28k. Was listed at 32k and negotiated 30 and change . Great truck love it. Has nav and premium sound, tune running boards and exhaust tip.

 

I paid $33,200 before TTL in Sept of 2016 for a 2017 Offroad MT DCSB with 5 miles on it, got some goodies for free (bed mat, d-rings, bed cleats, carpet mats, clear vinyl on front/mirrors/bed/tailgate). Unless it has some sweet upgrades like JBL, leather, moonroof, etc. Maybe holdout or try to get them way down on it?
