I'm pretty sure I want to, funny part is everyone else likes this truck more. Even my family thinks it is too cool, and they all keep reminding me of all the work I put into it (taking it from trash to a very competent wheeler) but I just have never felt a connection to it. It's functional and comfortable, rides better on the road than my cruiser even and gets better MPG, it's great in the dirt and still very comfortable on long wheeling trips, engine is reliable and simple (current electrical issue notwithstanding) but I'm just not interested in it anymore. I feel like pouring anymore money into doing more to it would be at a point of diminishing returns and quite frankly other than a locker it doesn't need anything else to go almost anywhere in the country.

 

I have a 500 dollar Corolla for the snow. Lol

Not necessarily, but I'm pretty sure I'm done with this one. I've checked all the boxes on my Tacoma to-do list so to speak. Right now (again current electrical issue aside) it is a turn key wheeling/adventure rig that can take you anywhere you want to go comfortably but garage space and interests are valuable to me and I like working on my wheeling rigs as much as I like wheeling and exploring in them. So I don't really want something that just sits until the next trip, I want something I can keep improving.

I've had lots of chances to buy second gens, they aren't expensive anymore. I'd like to think if I was genuinely interested in building one my impulses would have bought it already. Right now the 300ZX is my priority, cause I haven't really gotten to drive it. After that I am going to think hard about what I'll replace the taco with, if anything. I love wheeling and camping with my friends so there needs to be something but what... I'm not sure
