I, rather we, ate the butts I smoked the other day. Had them vac packed. Got to the training site at 7:30, plugged in the roaster, put some water in, and let them heat up. 15 pounds, consumed by 20 people in under 20 minutes. I guess they liked it.

Good news and bad news here.

First, the good: The Thermopops arrived!

The bad: They shorted me on three orange ones. I ordered an orange for myself, so that means I got one instead of four. They've already arranged to get the replacements sent out. I'll PM you all any details you need. I'm only posting this here to note that Thermoworks did make a mistake, but to also recognize them for working to resolve the issue quickly and painlessly.

If there is worse news, it's for @Cold Iron , and that is that they didn't send any jellybeans :rofl::rofl:.

Should have complained about that. When I ordered my 3D printer I got gummy bears. :)

    Oh I can't like that!!

My current one is orange and the others I ordered are orange. Why does it not surprise me that you ordered orange for yourself?!

Should have them tomorrow. Minus the Jelly Belly's :pout:

My freezer is now full of good old Iowa raised beef. This is going to be damn tasty. 180 lbs for a quarter beef from a co worker.

Just got into work this morning and couldn’t help but notice two of the new/newer ZGrills pellet grill sitting in my shop floor. I’ll assemble these later on in the day and post my initial impressions/thoughts of the build quality.

No, these were just put in the shop to be assembled overnight. I have no idea what promotion is even offered with these. Seems I’ve seen something other than the BOGO offer.

Nice casters on the base, heavy canvas cover, and thick guage steel. Box says 172lbs. More to follow.

Finally got around to assembling this thing. Very well built, and nice looking unit. The only thing to jumps out to me is the main rack is one piece. Not sure how you’re supposed to clean it, it’s huge!

The best part is the price, it comes in at $299.98!!! IMO it’s a lot of grill for that price. I’m wondering if my company (Rural King) bought up a bunch of the BOGO’s and cut the price in half? Just a guess on my part.

Must be leftover old models? They don't have the 700c anymore. But that's still a ridiculous price for what it is... good thing y'all are far away from me
