    Sure, I run the cheapest I can find in the proper viscosity. Oh and I do 12,500 oci based upon oil analysis done for my truck. I recently picked up mobil 1 because after rebate it was the cheapest at $2/quart.

    We need more oil threads!!!!

    OME and worth every penny.
    You have to use factory Toyota branded oil, nothing else will do.

    Edit: Harley Davidson oil will work in a pinch.

    Just put Mobil1. seems like when I run Mobil1 my mpg drops. currently 15.8mpg

    When I run conventional or whatever dealer puts in I am around 19 mpg.

    Go figure.

    Conventional or synthetic works fine. Synthetic handles heat and cold better and can go extended drains.
