I didn't get beat up too bad by the salesman and declined to buy all that extra stuff. It had 5 miles on it when I test drove it. Now I think I really belong here.

Thanks! I have plans to do the hose clamp mod on the tailgate and trim the mud flaps on the front - thanks to the other members of this forum. I do miss my compass/thermometer I had in the Grand Cherokee that I traded in. What can I do about that?

I got two year oil change and tire rotation service as part of the deal. Is that good??? They say it's 5K miles between oil changes.

EXCELLENT looking truck. I'm not gonna lie if i could afford the 4x4 that's EXACTLY what i would get. CONGRATS!

I change my own oil every 3-4k miles... but hey if they're giving them to you for free i say go for it!

You can mod-in the temp/compass by losing the garage door opener compartment. It is quite expensive to do it with dealer parts (~$900), but getting parts from a wrecked Taco can be done for a couple hundred or less. Only difficulty in acquiring parts is they must be from an '09 or '10 - the parts from '05-'08 are not directly compatible.

Search this forum for threads on how-to.

If you got a two year oil change and rotation for free i think that is a great deal. The finance guy at the dealer I went to tried to sell me a package that included oil/rotation and a few other things at a price that was around $1500.00 bucks I think...... He couldn't hardly believe it when I told him I didn't want it.
