Pro grille is just "best available" imo. It's not that great looking but it looks better than the stock offerings.

If it was depressed into the grille instead of protruding outwards it'd be 10/10 must haves. The way it sticks out is really unsightly from all angles but the exact front - but the design itself is clean.

I used plasti dip, but will eventually replace with a stock SR bezel which swaps on.

I was a fan when it was unique and new. Now I see them everywhere and it doesn't have the same appeal. I showed it to my wife and she didn't think it looked any better than the other OEM grills. It's weird that my billet grille looks different than everything I see on the road these days, because billet grilles used to be the fad thing to stick on the front of your truck. Then mesh, then faux raptor. Really its one of the one parts of the truck that reflect your personality and change the entire look of the vehicle. A lot of people have the same kind of opinion about wheels, and the fads come and go with them too.

I agree OP I love the SR5 grille. Too many pro grilles out there now!

Understandable people wanted to swap out the 16s and 17s OR/sport grilles, but I think the 18s look great!

The Pro grille is great design, but yes it’s totally cheap compared to the OEM TRD grilles. I had the TRD OR chrome one with the surround they used in 2017. The entire TRD OR grille assembly is much nicer built and more complex to manufacture than the cheap-ass OEM Pro grille, but alas the style of the pro grille is superior (to my eyes)

In the end, the Pro grille is a good looking hunk of plastic. Toyota must be making a killing selling them. The designer of the Pro grille deserves a raise.

I don't have one, and I wouldn't get one for the price of a OEM. But, I will tell you, I've certainly considered it for the eBay prices...

Just an aside, but the only defining feature of the pro grille is the TOYOTA on the front, right? Besides that it's a generic plastic truck grille.

Way to understate the main focus of the design. Logic like this seems pointless.

Don't get me wrong. They did a great job of directing your attention at the main focus of the design, and away from the generic portions.
