    So what area of California is cheapest for Tacomas?

    Im not feeling like paying 12k for a 1st gen even if i do want another 1st gen.
    2nd gen is on the table too (4x4 DC) but i want that to be under 20k.

    I used to code (medical, not programming) for an ER in SF. People stick interesting things inside themselves. I remember a fuji apple (doctor made sure to document the variety), a jar of jam, light bulbs, and lots and lots of vibrators. Also learned about some stuff I'd rather not know about like sounding.

    Yeah 4x4 a must since my last truck wasnt a 4x4 and i want to build it up a bit.

    Im not deadset on a DoubleCab but id prefer it. Extended Cab is 2nd choice, no single cabs.

    I’d take a look at 05-06 Tundras as well. The double cabs can be had for 10-14k with decent miles and are awesome trucks. 2nd gens are just too expensive even with 160k+.

    Yeah i considered 1st gen Tundras and theyre not off the table either considering a quad cab 4x4 Tundra can be had for Ext Cab 2WD 1st gen Tacoma prices

    I was probably going to go for a 2nd gen Taco if i find one under 20k or a 5k 4Runner when i give up and decide to settle.
