This is strange. I've been sick with pneumonia and haven't really been online much. Come to find a lot has changed. I only joined a couple of months ago, but this seemed like a cool place with a lot of really good local people who all shared some common interests. Kind of bummed to see what's happened.

 

Right there with you...very bummed.

 

Used to be that way, I've been away from the bs thread a week or so just because it's been hard to keep up lately. Come back and everybody is all ban hammered. Used to be fun, used to be a tight family, used to be the best thread on tw. Used to be... now there's snowflakes everywhere and little mods with big hammers.

 

Anyone have any cliff notes on what transpired?

I miss those days too man. Our Texas thread used to be so active. Pages of bullshitting a day. Tons of fun moments. Now it’s ban ban ban ban. It’s not family or fun anymore. Im okay if I ever get banned. Been on here 7+ years. It’s going downhill quick. It’s sad. Really is.

 

Very sad indeed, how or why these mods feel the need to cater to the weak, snowflake, fucks just blows my mind.

 

Going downhill? More like already crashed into the wall and is on fire. Mods literally have ruined this website and it's very sad indeed.

 

We used to be able to talk shit with mods. Before the “I’m a god cause I’m a mod” Logic was on here. This place used to be popping.

It was always that forum that people joined and were like “this is the best forum I’ve ever been on”.

Many of us have been on here for years. Years. That’s huge for freaking truck forum.

I get it y’all are trying to adjust for the newly sensitive culture that’s growing but please don’t forget what got this place as big as it was. Don’t let TW become one of those safe space places.

Used to have New Jersey people talking shit in Florida threads, Florida in Texas, Texas in cali... 24 hour bans were common.

It was awesome.

All these changes are killing the forum IMO. The entire Texas region has slowed down like crazy. From 10 pages a day to 10 post. All the OG members left cause of the changes happening

If y’all can’t see that a lot of people aren’t a fan of the new ideas in this place then I’m sorry but y’all are gonna keep losing more and more people.

 

Yea but they don’t care cause we are just normal people right? Until it’s just a group of mods on here after pushing everyone else away.
