Im good for the 26th, or 17th.

 

Sorry, I was looking at a June calendar, not a July calendar. My Bad. June 26 Im on vacation, sorry. July 10th or 24th. I'm leaning toward the 24th.

If it is the 24th of July I should be back for sure. The 10th is pushing my luck. But if you doit that day I'll catch the next one

Half way for those in Wichita and Kansas City. Guys in Southeast Kansas and Western MO can also make the trip.

Well guys, I won't be able to make that. I'm stuck with a hard three months at work and won't be able to leave Wichita for the meet. If we do another meet down here or sometime after september I'd be in. Hope you guys have fun and enjoy the food.

 

How bout we plan to meet in Wichita about noon that day. If we get some interest from guys in the KC area we could do a meet and greet / mod discussion for an hour or two then road trip to Guy and Mae's for an early dinner around 4-5 and meet up with the KC guys. If there is not interest from those outside of Wichita we can just go somewhere in Old Town.

That sounds like a reasonable idea. I might be able to make that. Depends on how busy I'll be at work that day. I could certainly stop by as soon as I'm done, especially if you guys will be at oldtown. The hospital is about 5 min from there.

 

I pulled into a local book store and had a blue Taco with Sockmonkey's Expedition decals on it pull in beside me! The driver walked over and introduced himself and it turned out to be Kinetik873!

We checked out each other's trucks and mods.




Don't fret the forward lean, Kinetik has installed his Dakar rear springs, and his OME 886's go on this weekend.
After exchanging contact info, in case we need help with future mods, and discussing possibilities of off roading in the area, I'd say the first impromptu mod day was a success. Now I'm really excited for the Mid-Kansas get together in July!

I been wondering which bookstore he worked at! I always go to that one to get my monthly copy of BIKE and visit Backwoods.
Now I will have to be on the look out next time I head up there.

 

Im up in the NW (21st and Maize) one. Just go in and ask for josh. Bryan is a solid guy, It was awesome to see a fellow member out there. I cant stop drooling over his truck. Being a poor college kid, my build is a long term project, but Ive definately gotten more ideas. I'm psyched for the meets.

Hey High Gear and kinetik873, I live just up the road from 21st. and Maize. I posted a cool video of me in my truck in that exact parking lot by Borders during the last snow storm.
