Matt, before you go to cutting or taking things apart you could try the tool I made for removing the bolt covers in the rear wall of the cab. It has tremendous pulling power. Use black gorilla tape. Maybe you can pull the dent out.

 

When I worked nights on rolling fours, some co-workers and I would drive the quarter mile from the gate to the little icehouse that would open at 0530 in the morning. Didn't charge us until 0700 when the full tab was due. Good times good memories.

That’s ingenious I’ll give it shot. I’ve used dry ice in the past for door dings an on the hood but it has to be a hot sunny day. Cause of the location I’m weary don’t wanna over pull it an have a bulge.

I'd also be concerned that the tape may actually pull some of the finish off if you're not REAL careful.
