:pccoffee: Good morning. It is cool not cold. Say it enough can believe it. I think.

Dwayne not sure if I am more impressed with the fact you still have backstrap in the freezer or the bacon grease injection. First thing I do with a deer is rip the backstrap out and cut it into steaks, butterfly them and cook it in bacon grease. Outstanding job!!

There are 3 SxS with AC and heat I have looked at all of them. John Deere just came out with one and they have fit and finish issues. Several have said they have spent more time in the shop new than they do in the barn\garage. Kubota actually makes one. Diesel too. Top speed 26 mph, most say you have to be going downhill to get that fast in it. But they are top of the line if low and slow is your game.

And what I ended up with 2019 Polaris Northstar HVAC XP 1000 Ranger in pearl white.

Should have it tomorrow they are doing a "few" add ons to it yet. Then I have to build a topper for the bed including storage for the dog boxes. Polaris was my last choice in the beginning, but when it is all said and done about the only one in that category that ticked all the boxes and they are supposed to be better than they used to even 2 years ago. I still got the extended warranty though. And going to be careful with the mods. Did get 2" larger tires for it that are still within factory specs was worried about going larger than that and causing other issues.

I saw that last weekend! Was my first choice in the beginning and had high hopes for it. Think in the open it still is a good choice. The 22 foot turning radius is a show stopper in the woods though.

    Good Morning
    45 degrees and sunny
    Sunrise over a soybean field.
Today is Olive trimming day. I have olive bushes on north side of property. They're invasive and spread fast.

FIL is doing better. But now get this,, MIL fell and hit her head, in a bathroom, at the hospital. She refused to get it looked at.
I'm sorry but WTF. She's a retired nurse, she should know better. First thing I thought of was my mom and how that ended.

    Everyone have a good day.

I think the most exciting thing for these warrior hunts for them is the mountain roads. these roads are where people come in groups to do offroad trips like you see on TW all the time. these boys have run them for years and when your doin 45mph and more on roads some people air down for its a Hell of a ride:D

Good morning. Stepped outside already and it didn't feel bad/hot/muggy. Calling for rain Sun/Mon/Tue and then again Fri. We'll see. I do expect the chances of swampass to be at 100%.

If we had more/tighter vegetation and roads I'd go with a SxS. One of the issues I really don't like about a SxS is that fulltime live rear axle. They tear up roads and trails something awful especially where there are a lot of them and with the shorter turning radius they really carve when they turn sharp. But in this open country the trade off is pretty good. On the ac issue, Jeep windsheld frames and halfcabs are still easy to find as well as aftermarket ac units (vintage air). So the accessory/mods should be pretty easy. Be careful with your mods above COG if you have (or think you'll experience) side hills. With the narrow widths it doesn't take much to change the COG, but saying that, they have a low COG to begin with.

Dan you just can't catch a break, can you? Enjoy the solitude while picking olives. I have picked a lot of vegies and fruit, but never olives.

I hope the swampass is lower than your expectations set it at today.

You've been a huge help thank you! Could hardly climb in and out of the new Yamaha 850 Wolvy with my knees being jacked up, really burst my bubble. And the Honda P1000 sitting next to it fit and finish were crude I couldn't believe it was a Honda. The dealer damn near had to drag me up to the showroom floor to show me the Polaris. Had to roll down the window a crack on it to shut the door because the air pressure was so tight in the cabin.

Agree with the locked diffs on SxS's one reason I have always hated them on the trails. The newer Rangers have a turf mode that unlocks the rear diff I expect that I will run it in Turf mode more than 90% of the time.

Your right about the COG everything I do to it am keeping it in mind. Ordered a couple of 1/2" 4x8 sheets of Baltic Birch for the topper for the box. Want strength, weather resistant, but light as I can. Fore and Aft will be framed Lexan for visibility. Really wanted a spare tire but only place I can think to mount it would be safari style on the roof. Erhh not a good idea putting that much weight up there so am going to carry a plug kit and air compressor. And cross my fingers. See how it goes this year and if I think I can pull it off may mount one up there next year but doubt it very much.

I think you should get the Roxor because I still want one :D

Mn. isn't great on Class 2 ATV's on roads but getting better especially where I will be using it, got the turn signal kit and a few other things just in case I end up in Az. for winters. SD and Az. are really good for letting Class 2 ATV's on the roads. Thinking ahead here....

Not going to pick, going to cut down. Sorry for any confusion. They're like buckthorn, if not controlled ,they take over.
