Just my humble opinion, but...

 

I've got a Sig P556 Swat that I've had for 6 years and I haven't even put a magazine in it, let alone fired it. I want to SBR it.

 

if you havent touched it why SBR it? lol

 

If your 5.56 is an AR, then buy a .300BLK upper and voila. Go hunting.

I'm assuming that you have called them already . They usually cash your check rigth away. When that didn't happen ,it should have been a red flag that something is wrong.

 

Standard run-of-the-mill AR15 lower with a .300 AAC blackout built by a retired armorer. I don't have any specifics however I do recall it being an Anderson lower. Nothing fancy...

I had 50West Armory handle all of my paperwork as I submitted it prior to deploying last November. The check not being cashed did raise the flag. He's been in contact with ATF and says if he doesn't hear anything by EOW, he'll submit for an expedited stamp...four months wait, FML!

 

Get cucked! I have no desire to SBR a rifle cause there are so many good after market "braces" there really isnt much need to pay the tax...imho.

 

I had a buddy buy a suppressor from 50 West and the same thing happened to him. I hear that they are nice guys , but clearly they are doing something wrong.

 

This . I have had one lower SBRed and see no need for another unless the laws change. Braces are fantastic now so all of my other "rifles" that are <16" are considered pistols or firearms !

 

hahah yeah. I have a MK18 pistol right now on a KAK shockwave and a 13.7in custom upper I built that need to be pinned and welded. I need to get that new SBA3 brace

 

SBA3 is night & day compared to KAK ! Make the switch now ! I've been seeing them for about $100 lately.
