Right, makes sense. I would lose the deposit if I walked out on it. I found this one...
    https://www.toyota.com/search-inven...5200|MR1000|UF60|FP5000/vin/3TMCZ5AN8JM188937
which has premium, tech, and predator step bars, which I like, for essentially the same price. I guess I will bring this in and see what that does for me.

I guess the main thing is that they were like, "people are going to buy these remaining three trucks" and I got the "sh*t or get off the pot" vibe.

I gotcha. Anyone know where a FL dealership might land on the price spectrum? Generally more expensive or less?

Yup. The state of Washington really bends you over. Around 9% sales tax, and then paying absurd fees (nearly $600) to fund a community transit train we won't see for another 20 years.

Getting a magnetic grey DCSB OR tomorrow with all weather liners and door sill protectors (MSRP is $37575) for $33750 before TTL. This includes the $1000 rebate in my area.

Keep in mind, states with lower tax rates are paying state income tax. WA doesn't have that. I'd much rather pay it on what I'm purchasing than what my wages are, but that's me.

Tax was 2600 or so. It gets up there, which you will pay regardless. Prove you paid it in a state that had reciprocity or pay at the DMV.

    That's a ~12% tax. Crazy. Glad I don't live where you do...

Should I try to wiggle it more ? Deal is in Northern CA. Thanks.

Looking at a rare purchase is probably not the best way to judge a states taxes. Just sayin. Probably better off looking at the overall tax burden of a particular state. Each state collects. Some funnel differently.

What does that even mean? Rare purchase? Have you been charged inconsistent tax rates on vehicle sales?

I’m guessing he means that judging a state tax on a car purchase which isn’t a daily charge is a bad way to look at taxes. You should look at property, income, taxes etc.... to come up with a whole picture.

It doesn’t look that good. I got my Sport DCSB with tech and prem for $34.5 plus tax. So $1500 more you can get either sport or OR

So i just called in and got the dealer's info to do this. They do require you to be a Costco member before they'll discuss pricing with you tho, and i am currently not. Is it worth spending the $60+ to become one just to find out the pricing? Is it THAT much of a discount? Invoice? Below? Typically speaking, of course it may vary, i understand that.

    Thanks again!!
