yes, several times. I think they played locobazooka 2001 and did a few WAAF shows between '99 and 2002...I really liked the album From One.

I swear I almost took the exact same picture last week when I was there picking up my parts...I was like WHAAAT??? For that car? Is it an antique now?

Technically, yes. Anything 25 or older is considered an antique (at least in Maine).
Doesn't necessarily mean it's a classic, though. :notsure:

I'm sure there's some idiot hipster out there who'll buy it, though.

They must be banking on how low the mileage is. The screenshot shows average miles as 150k+ while this has 33k.

I did a double take leaving my truck there in the am then had to get a picture when it was still sitting there in the afternoon.

I was due for an oil change and I was looking over my receipts for previous service and I realized that they charge ~$89 for their oil change on a 2010 2.7L 4Cyl....It includes anywhere from 6 to 7 quarts of oil...but their price starts at 5 quarts and then stacks on 1 or 2 more quarts and the subsequent disposal fees..If you have a coupon they always seem to say 7 quarts...if you don't have a coupon it's 6 quarts...So the extra quart eats the coupon...With a coupon I've gotten as much as $25 off the oil change so the cheapest out the door price was about $45....

So this finally pushed me to just do it myself...Fumoto time...I am doing my oil on my own for the first time this weekend..First time costs for everything including filter, fumoto, oil etc are less than $80 and subsequent changes will be about $35 out of pocket.

They have been very proactive in contacting me to let me know I need service!!!

I also bought a grease gun to do my drive shaft...

I've never had anyone change my oil for me. To me it's much more convenient to do it on my own time in my own garage. They even told me the first two oil changes would be free on this truck, but doing it myself is easier than driving 45 minutes there, waiting a half hour, driving another 45 back.

I put all the used oil back in 5 qt jugs and give it to a friend who heats his shop with waste oil.

If I had a garage I wouldn't ever have someone else change my oil either.

Those prices seem really high, I just paid to have them do another to get me into next year and it cost me $57 for full synthetic with a coupon (for 5qts so I had to pay for the extra needed). I'll be going the same path but, same as @jethro it's a bitch without the space to do it. I'm getting to the point of saying fuck it and doing it in the apartment complex lot and just hope I don't suck at it and dump oil everywhere.

Haha I would have let you borrow the one I have since you aren't far from me. I bought one for the same reason then came to find out that I think mine got replaced with the fittings that have "lifetime" grease :frusty::facepalm:
^Seconded; this is one of the only reasons I'm considering paying for the Toyota Care Plus for $289. Then Toyota will do all my major fluid changes/service through 40k; but, they may not like me if I have a full set of skids in the way.

Depends on the vehicles in question. I've got no problem crawling under my trucks or the tractor to do an oil change; there's plenty of clearance. But the GF's Mustang? Forget it. Not touching that one without a post lift.

Can you roll in at 39,942 and ask for Coolant flush and a brake fluid flush?? Or is it by the book maintenance stuff..which they do with the overpriced oil change already...and if you are doing synthetic 10K changes it's $289 for 4 oil changes 5k, 15k, 25K 35K and the fluid top offs which they already do? I also think they give you your first 2 changes free with purchase already...OR does it also include greasing the axle (propeller shaft every 5K) I don't think it even calls for transfer case and differential until like 60K right? Have you done a breakdown?

I edited the kbb quote for the 92 Corolla. At 33k the asking price should be $2600, fair purchase price of 2k. I'm sorry, but I don't think anyone on earth will ever consider the 92 Corolla to be desirable collector car.

Before I did, I planned it so I could make it through the winter without having to change it. I'd just do it on the last nice day and use good full synthetic oil that I wasn't worried about running 8-10k miles if I had to.

I'd be down if it wasn't a 3 hour trip in one direction. :pout:

At that rate it's cheaper for me to just pay the local garage to do it

What's wrong with doing it in the driveway? :notsure: No garage and I do my own. In the winter, I just wait for a semi-warm day.

I get to deal with both of those worlds & fell about the same even though I haven't been doing my own.

I have not done my own breakdown but, I'll look at the sheet they gave me about buying the program and see what else is on there.

I hate working on a dirt driveway. If it were paved or even good surepack I would likely do it myself all the time. Dirt is actually a generous description... it's sand.
