    Same here. Ironically, 30 years ago I was pretty homophobic until I moved to Austin and actually met some of the local gays and lesbians. Several thoughts ran though my mind and I changed my perspective, among which were "this is what I was afraid of?" They were funny, kind, awesome hosts, and polite to a fault.

    Also, if you're doing shots with lesbians who are simultaneously telling dick jokes, it burns when tequila comes out your nose.
