I don't think my fob is factory, one sec I'll look under the kick panel

 

Electrical is fun!

I was the madman who bought Double Cab power door harnesses and hooked them up to my truck not knowing anything about electrical.

Oem alarm has a little box under the radio near the outlets marked toyota.

If thats not present its a after market system.

 

If aftermarket it’s probably under the dash cover

 

The glassbreak sensor? Not all trucks that came with the RS3200 came equipped with that sensor.

The valet switch is that button I was referring to...mine is on a little black box under the dash to the left of your knees. There's a blue LED light and a valet button...But again I don't think you can bypass the alarm once it's been tripped, otherwise a thief could do that easily if they wanted your truck.

This does have me wondering how to deal with this situation if I find myself without my key fob....maybe call Toyota and see what they say?

It also came with that little sensor under the hood I think too. Next to a battery. Trucks that dont have it just have A empty plug.

 

What’s the sensor under the hood for?

 

I think its actually just a beeper. If I remember right. Its just. Little tube. Name starts with a P i think. Idk i just have a empty plug

Probably for the alarm's motion detector...I know mine is super sensitive to anything hitting the hood when it's activated. A big acorn falling off a tree and hitting it will set it off, but I can jump in the bed with it activated and it won't do anything
