Edit: I am thinking about getting a ram mount that goes in to the ohshit handle on the drivers side but keep forgetting to look into it.

 

That silly little thing works pretty awesome. Haven't used it while bouncing around off road though.

 

Awesome. I might have one of those lying around, tried it on the Tacoma but could never get it to stay put.

 

I use that exact one in my Tacoma - position it on the vent in a way that the vent won't move. Works great and actually works pretty well off road. The magnet in that one is a lot stronger than the Wal-Mart ones so it holds them in pretty good.

I have a "rental car kit" that I use whenever I drive a rental (which is semi often) and it includes one of those and some charging cables/adapters. Really handy when you're in a new city and of course need to use maps. It's small and doesn't require any modification to vehicle.

 

Works fine for me even through a case on the back of the phone and i love being able to just whip my phone at the mount and have it stick when i jump in.

The prongs have different sized gaps, so for instance, if you put it on the vent fins and its too loose, rotate it 90* and it should fit.

well, its more than that:

First time I went there, the dutch workers were like "you're from America." more of a statement; I asked "How do you know?" obviously ignoring my own accent; "fat Americans".
Currently we have several dutch here at work and they are skinny as rails because they eat lunch with something like this: slice of bread, slice of cheese, maybe slice of meat, fold in 1/2, done.

I am not skinny like Brian @NorthwestCruiser but certainly not fat

 

Do you work for a company that makes stuff for Boeing?

My last few work trips I've hung out with folks from the Netherlands. I think genetically a lot of them are just tall and skinny. Most of the women were, but some of them were fat too. I'm talking about like middle america fat.

They were always friendly though.

I dont know what any of those are, but I have a friend who is dutch and works for a Boeing subcon. Also tall and skinny, but eats garbage and drinks constantly.

 

Small hands, smell like cabbage.

Ram mount is worth the money. Just don’t buy a knockoff on accident.
