I shoot a 34" ATA and (with proper form) I can't get my nose to touch the string without bowing my head down for the life of me. On my old bow it was no problem. I tried it all: changed draw length multiple times, tried a different release, voodoo spells, pagan offerings, etc. In the end, it all just lead to me being wildly inconsistent and inaccurate. I went back to my original draw length and release, and I went back to dipping my head to touch my nose to the string and (boom!) my accuracy came back. Form shouldn't be bow dependent but keeping the same anchor point is going to change some things depending on each person's, and the bow's mechanics (maybe I just have a short nose?).

Let's shoot together soon! I am sure Chris will be able to get you squared away. I would like to take the opportunity to learn from him as well.

I will comment only on the poison ivy, I myself as they call it is clinically allergic. In other words highly allergic to getting it. With that said, obviously I have tried every thing on the market, all the way to the witch doctor remedies and the only thing I have found to successfully and easy deal with it and de-emulsify the oil is 91 poof rubbing alcohol. ( not the 74, but the 91 stuff) I have about 10 bottles of that stuff all over my property because I have poison ivy all over my property and the only way I have kept myself out of the hospital is to drowned what ever could have possibly gotten near poison ivy after and doing whatever I’m doing which is a lot of chain sawing usually

I got tired of going to the doctor/hospital 4-5 times a year, year after year because everything I did was outdoors. So I started doing research on the root of what poison ivy was. And new the key was to emulsify it, witch is why people use acetone and gas, but I wanted something a little less evasive. Alcohol was the answer!..............................(isn't it always!:D)

And for those of you don’t get poison ivy. it is so much more than what you just see on the surface. It gets down into the muscle tissue.absolutely annihilates your muscles. At the clinical level it is quite painful. I guess I could probably compare it to somebody getting shingles two or three times a year

yeah I read something about the oils, So when I was outside in MD where I was messing with "brush" I came in and washed with dawn dish washing soap and that seemed to help along with avoiding it ;)

I'm one of the lucky ones, I've never had a reaction from poison ivy. But if there is a seed tick (or 10,000) within 50 miles, it's gonna get on me.

Anytime I encounter ivy, oak, or sumac I always shower with dawn soap and scrub. Seems to work pretty decently.

I hoarded my vacation this year and have not used any yet. Starting in October, I will be off 7 days every other week thru November. Still have 7 or 8 days after that.:)

I did the same thing, well saved a few days for hunting at least.

Its the end of October I'm worried about more than opening day.

Gotta admit, the weather changing has got me pumped.

Picked up my permits last weekend.

Can't say I remember them costing this much as a kid. $51!! For my base and a combo in Michigan. Really would like to know what's going on with that. I really am feeling bad for the people that need to hunt more than I. That's a lot of money if you're going through tough times.

I pay $410 + $55 + $25 +$5 to hunt in Illinois. Deer permits, hunting license, extra doe tag and habitat stamp. Kind of ridiculous but cheaper than a drug habit I guess.
