Really nice, heard the SR access cab will have an option for the 6 cylinder too.

Still no SR MT option though.

    Interesting.

I think this is actually a continuation of the "SR Package" from the refresh 2nd gens. 2nd Gen Tacomas were called base models with "packages" added to them IE: SR, SR5, TRD OR, TRD SPORT, etc.

The SR package was basically a lite sport package for the 2nd gens and gave you almost the same stuff as the SX package except it came with painted fender flares and upgraded your grill surround to color match status (this is default on 3rd gens) plus mirror cap turn signals. It was also available with a V6-6MT and had smoked headlights too.

I like it, now if they offered it in brown sugar metallic that would be great. Cement as shown and cavalry blue would look good.

this appears to be a dealer add-on, not a Toyota offering. just saying.

??? This is a Toyota offered package for the SR trims. This a not an assortment of dealer installed accessories with a huge mark-up attached to them.

Looks pretty snazzy. The reasons to buy an SR5 are fewer and fewer by the day

Here are the prices in Louisiana, not sure if different other regions. Also, as per @boynoyce stated, it appears you can get the SR with a V6 now. This is interesting stuff here.

Ha, I'd be pissed if they added a V6 SR AC MT after I just went with the Skoopy Sport to get that.

Tried a couple zip codes and built that truck, it seams to be a GST and SET thing and the aclb v6 4x4 version was not on the SET zip code website.

Just wait until 2020 when they redesign the Pro grille and the current Pro grille becomes a standard TRD OR and Sport grille.

So, I just built a SR in quicksand with the V6, 4wd, with the SX package. Aside from the fog lights and the grille, the average person would not know it from an Off Road model from the outside.

That’s how the OR version should’ve come from the factory. None of this chromed out garbage.

Add MT to that SR SX, and I’d pick that all day over my TRD.
