What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Like would the average 4 runner of those years have one? Or are they rare

 

Rare, and almost no second gen runners had them in the US

 

Not at all, they're very rare on USDM 4Runners. I stop at every single 4Runner I see at the junkyards and I've never seen one.

There's a reason why they're selling for $150-$250 on eBay.

 

Hmmm, I think it'd be kinda fun to have one, even if they are useless, but not for 250$

 

Look for a 4WD Toyota Tercel. They're more common. Just lacks the Barometer and Inclinometer. Funny how a Toyota TERCEL had an option to have a inclinometer.

I scoured the Philippines for a Toyota Hilux/Pickup inclinometer like the one I have, but I could never find one. I ended up finding one out of a Mitubishi Pajero though - I was about to use this unit if I didn't find the one I have in my truck. The artificial horizon is pretty cool.
