I do NOT miss air travel one bit. The last time I liked it was in the 1980's, and I traveled so much for Field Service, I gave more than a DOZEN flights away to family. Now, how do I get to Belize, Mexico, Fiji without flying...….? Think I will sit by the pool....

Central Texas' biggest gathering of auto enthusiasts has found a new home at Circuit of The Americas! CARS & COFFEE AUSTIN is taking over Lot A for a monthly pop-up car show for the entire family. All profits will be donated to a different Austin area charitable organization each month.

COFFEE AND CONCESSIONS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE IN THE MAIN GRANDSTAND AND VELOCITY LOUNGE

COTA Karting IS OPEN FOR CARS & COFFEE GUESTS FROM 7:30AM TO NOON. WALK UPS ONLY

For anyone new, this gathering is a community effort that we all pitch in to supply various items for our group to make our day more enjoyable and full of bacon. A list of common items is as follows:

• Cups
• Plates
• Plastic Ware
• Tables

• Cookers
• Trash receptacles and bags

**As always, it is not expected for anyone to bring anything. Anything that is brought is greatly appreciated, but you are still allowed to partake in any of the snacks/tacos even if you can’t bring anything**

Post Cars & Coffee Meetup:
There will *possibly* be a trip to Bastrop to do some wheeling following the event. Departure times from COTA will likely be discussed the day of at COTA.

Sorry I have not been a round in a while. Averaging about 70 hours a week right now and when I do have a weekend off i'm making of the most of it by going down to the PINS to go fishing. I'll be there this weekend and can't wait to get away from Austin.

 

And, DAMN. Right back at it with this bunch. The Inverter was Back Ordered and not on the pallet. Sent them an email, and got a call, "well, no one told me, and the crews can't get there tomorrow anyway, and it's looking like rain Monday and Tuesday...." So, send your truck out and pick it up, so it doesn't sit in Saturdays rain (there will be no rain at COTA on Sunday), and bring it all back when you have the parts. I freaking love dealing with professionals.

For those who are traveling from SA, myself and @TacoDude 72 are meeting at bucees at Approx 0530 sonwe can finish the drive up to cota, anyone else making the drive is welcome to join.

 

In with plates, plastic ware, and 12 oz. "coffee". Sure hope I can snap a "stick"~!
