Last night I installed my new softopper with the help of the wife.
Today I used it to drag around a TSC utility trailer rental to haul a large rototiller and a yard of dirt for the back yard.
Not sure why the picture makes the rear of the truck look odd but oh well.

Thanks! I carefully taped the reflector as well as the parking light and painted right over the turn signal since I was going to remove that burnt reflector anyways.

I really want to do this mod, but I'm afraid I'll make it look all crappy.

I'm with you. My aftermarkets look great but can't believe how bad the light pattern is. Something to do with the reflectors I think.

If you just take your time, make neat cuts with the tape and prep well, you should be fine!

If you can, don't rush the project. I have my other daily car I can drive so I'm giving myself a few days to get it done, no rush.

    2 questions for you :

    1. Do you have pics of your old gunmetal housings?

    2. Where'd you get your sport housings? Are they oem from the dealer?

Installed my Icon stage 2 lift today. Super easy. Just need to make an adjustment to the fronts. New Tires get installed Monday. Was planning on removing the sway bar, but noticed that the PO removed the sway and I’ve been driving without it the whole time.
    Also painted the rear drums.

Installed some aux back up lights, relocated my 7 pin trailer hook up and color matched the rear bumper. Also painted the hitch while it was off.

Not today but I replaced my wire taps with Posi-Taps. Seemed to fix the issue. I still need to replace the button with an OEM foglight button. Also ordered new shoes that should get put on next week.
